The Cape May County Chapter of Amnesty International will commemorate Human Rights Day at 7 p.m. in the Ocean City Library’s Lecture Hall.
The program will feature renowned performance poet Ketan Ben Ceasar. He will be introduced by poet Bill Sherman, an internationally renowned poet who read in London with Allen Ginsburg and Paul McCartney.
Human Rights Day is celebrated internationally thanks to the efforts of Eleanor Roosevelt 63 years ago. Amnesty International consists of ordinary people who fight injustice and promote human rights.
