Economic inequality is very much in the news today. Richard Wilkinson charts the hard data on income inequality and shows what goes wrong whwn rich and poor are too far apart: real effects on health, lifespan, even such basic values as trust.

TED is an international non-profit devoted to bringing people together from different disciplines---interesting ideas presented by interesting people. Ocean City Library showsthese talks in its new conference room.

Every 2^nd and 4^th Thursday at 11 AM (this month—2^nd and 3^rd Thursday) a local moderator will show a TED video that lasts about 20 minutes. After the video, the moderator will lead a discussion until around noon. Come join us for an interesting hour and an opportunity to share your ideas with others in the community
