Gov. Rendell to Sign 'A Nation of Wusses'
Former Gov. Ed Rendell will hold a book-signing July 3 at Sun Rose Words & Music.

A month after the publication of his first book, former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell will visit on Tuesday, July 3, to sign copies of the chronicle of his 34-year political career, "A Nation of Wusses: How America's Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great."
Rendell will appear at Sun Rose (756 Asbury Avenue) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and copies of the hardcover book ($25.95) will be available.
Ed Rendell served two terms as Democratic governor of Pennsylvania (2003-2011), two terms as mayor of Philadelphia (1992-2000) and headed the Democratic National Committee in 2000. He’s now a Partner at Ballard Spahr, LLP and a senior political analyst for MSNBC. He's an Ocean City property owner.

“I wrote the book for two reasons," Rendell said in a news release. "First, I wanted people to understand how rewarding it has been to serve the public for 34 years, and how the government I led accomplished good things for people, despite the challenges we faced. “Secondly, our country is at a crossroads, and we need bold, decisive, and courageous action on the part of our leaders if we are to successfully confront our problems.”
