Man, Woman Shot Inside Vehicle In Atlantic City, Police Investigating

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - A man and woman were found shot inside a vehicle in Atlantic City Friday afternoon, police said.

Shortly after 3 p.m., Atlantic City police officers responded to reports of shots fired and a ShotSpotter alert near the 400 block of north New Jersey Avenue, the department said in a statement.

A 25-year-old male and a 25-year-old female, both from Atlantic City, were found sitting inside a vehicle in the 600 block of Adriatic Avenue, police said.

Evidence of gunfire was also found in the area, police said.

The victims were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
