Somers Point Hardware Store Sells $50K Lottery Ticket

One lucky Somers Point shop served as one of several New Jersey locations to sell five-figure prizes for Monday's drawing.

SOMERS POINT, NJ - One lucky Somers Point shop served as one of several New Jersey locations to sell five-figure prizes for Monday's drawing.

Shore True Value Hardware, located at 515 New Road, sold one of five third-tier prizewinning tickets, according to a New Jersey Lottery spokesperson.

The tickets all matched four of the five white balls and the PowerBall, the spokesperson said. One of those tickets was purchased with the Power Play option, doubling the prize to $100,000.

The tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Atlantic County ($100,000): Sunoco, 6501 Delilah Rd., Egg Harbor Township
  • Atlantic County ($50,000): Shore True Value Hardware, 515 New Rd., Somers Point
  • Burlington County ($50,000): BJ’s Deli, 115 Creek Rd., Mount Laurel
  • Camden County ($50,000): Froggies Discount Liquors, 1009 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn
  • Monmouth County ($50,000): Welsh Farms, 22 Wall St., West Long Branch

The winning numbers for Monday’s drawing were 01, 04, 12, 36, and 49. The Red Power Ball number was 05 and the Power Play was 2X.

56,255 Garden State players won an estimated $292,115 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $653,000,000 for the next drawing tonight at 10:59 p.m.
