Updated COVID-19 Vaccine Site List In Cape May County
Here are the sites where the COVID-19 vaccines are being administered and links to monitor for appointment openings.
CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — New Jersey has been steadily expanding the number of publicly listed COVID-19 vaccination sites.
The state's list includes some locations that accept appointments directly; others are operating through the New Jersey Vaccine Scheduling System. (See the Cape May County list of vaccine sites below.)
Cape May County's vaccination site in Avalon continues to serve all county residents. County officials have encouraged residents to register to receive the vaccine through the state's website.

Mayor Jay Gillian announced Friday that Ocean City's Community Services Department has assembled a team of staff members and volunteers to help residents who may have limited ability to complete the online registration or scheduling process for COVID-19 vaccinations.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 22, Ocean City residents can call 609-399-6111 or stop by the Ocean City Community Center, City Hall Welcome Center or 46th Street Welcome Center, if they need help with the registration on the state's website. Officials remind residents that this assistance program offers no guarantee of receiving a vaccination as supplies remain limited.

Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said the state plans to increase the number of vaccination sites beyond 300. State officials have said the goal is to vaccinate 70 percent of the adult population by the spring.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced that New Jersey has created a county-by-county vaccine hub that reports the number of immunizations across the state. (see our guide to the vaccination system below). The state's vaccine hub website now has listed a number of Rite Aid stores in towns across New Jersey and asked people to sign up here.
Persichilli also said New Jersey currently doesn't have a lot of vaccine availability, but she expects that to change soon. The Biden administration has said that it plans to greatly expand the number of vaccine doses available to the American public.

As of Friday, Cape May County logged a total of 23,221 vaccinations.
