What Is There Too Much Of In Ocean City?

Moderation is key. As Patch editors, we often hear back from readers regarding which businesses they would like to see come to Ocean City. We also receive complaints about what there is too much of in your town- whether it be traffic, businesses, or crime-related.

So we asked our readers on Facebook, “What does Ocean City have too much of?”

• “Trees that have to be planted on the sidewalks that constantly have to (or should be) trimmed so you can park in front of your house or walk on the sidewalk.”

• “Condos. Too many places were torn down for cookie-cutter condos”

• “Cheesy t-shirt shops on the boardwalk”

• “Smokers on the beach. Especially those few who like to light up putrid cigars”

• “Duplex housing. What’s wrong with yards and grass?”

• “Too many red lights and parking meters”

• “SHOOBIES!!!”
