All-League Spartan Athletes Congratulated by Board of Ed, Athletic Director

Check out the list of PHS athletes recognized for making All-League in the Big North Conference.

The Big North Conference announced its All-League fall athletes for 2013 and Paramus High School was well represented.

The Paramus Board of Education congratulated all of the 15 Spartans who received the honor at their meeting on Monday evening.

“We’re just so proud of our student athletes as they progress and get recognized for their efforts,” said Paramus High School Athletic Director Don Roll. “You can’t say enough about these kids and the time, dedication and effort they put into their sports.”

The following students were named All-League by the Big North Conference:

Boys Soccer:

  • Benji Audi – 1st Team All-League – Big North Freedom Division

Cross County:

  • Erik Helstrom – 1st Team All-League – Big North Freedom Division

Girls Volleyball:

  • Maria Bellinger – 1st Team All-League – Big North Freedom Division, 1st team All-County, 1st Team All-State Group 3
  • Jessica Chakonis – 1st Team All-League – Big North Freedom Division, 1st Team All-County, 1st Team All-State Group 3, 1st Team All State
  • Erika DePasquale – 1st Team All-League – Big North Freedom Division

Football: 1st Team All-League Big North Colonial Division
