Paramus Honors Dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher (tapinto.net) — A Paramus special education teacher has been named the district’s 2025–26 Teacher of the Year for her work with 3rd and 4th graders at Stony Lane Elementary. Lifelong resident and Paramus Public Schools alum Angelina Maggio says giving back to the community that raised her is deeply rewarding, and district leaders praise her tireless commitment to students and inclusive education.
   

2. Seven New Jersey Medical Centers Receive National Safety Recognition From Leapfrog Group (wrat.com) — Paramus residents can take pride that Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in town has again earned a coveted national Top Hospital safety award from the Leapfrog Group. The recognition, shared with six other New Jersey hospitals, reflects strong performance in preventing infections, medication errors, and other safety issues, reinforcing that high-quality care is available close to home.
   

3. Tragedy that led to NJ law on removing snow/ice from your car (wearenewjersey.com) — A deadly 1996 crash on Route 17 in Paramus, where ice flew off a tractor-trailer and fatally struck a driver, led to New Jersey’s law requiring snow and ice be cleared from vehicles. 4. Nate Bailey of St. Joseph (Mont.) is the N.J.
