PARAMUS, NJ — Bergen Community College's theater troupe, The Bergenstages, will debut “Twelve Angry Jurors,” later this month to Bergen county audiences. The story follows twelve jurors and their struggle to meet a unanimous decision. Performances begin Friday, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ender Hall Lab Theatre at Bergen Community College main campus on 400 Paramus Road.

Originally written by Reginald Rose as “Twelve Angry Men,” this adaptation by Sherman L. Sergel is about a group of jurors serving on the murder trial of a 19-year-old man being accused for the murder of his father. Tensions arise after the jury votes 11-1 in favor of a guilty verdict and as the eleven jurors attempt to sway the decision of the opposing juror.

Directed by Professor Jared Saltzman, performances will be held on Feb. 25 to Feb. 26 and March 3 to March 5 at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Feb. 26 and March 5.
