Paramus police bust multiple mall theft attempts totaling over $11K (northjersey.com) — Paramus police say they stopped two separate organized retail theft operations at Westfield Garden State Plaza on Dec. 15, recovering more than $11,000 in merchandise. Four women were arrested after officers allegedly found booster bags, burglary tools, and suspected stolen goods from multiple popular mall retailers, with all charges tied to incidents inside the Paramus shopping hub.
   

2. Paramus man walks away with win in 'Jeopardy!' Second Chance contest (northjersey.com) — A Paramus resident, teacher Eugene Huang, just scored his first win in “Jeopardy!”’s Second Chance tournament and will return for the finals this Thursday. Huang, who teaches at Dumont High School, previously lost a close game in March but now advances in the show’s 2025 postseason, which runs through early January and also features another New Jersey contestant.
