Blizzard Warning Forces Paramus Schools to Close Early Friday
Public schools plan early dismissal for Friday, Feb. 8 due to the winter storm warning.

With more than 12 inches of snow predicted Friday into Saturday, Paramus schools are planning ahead by having an early dismissal for all schools on Feb. 8 according to the district's website.
Paramus High School will close at 12:05 p.m., East Brook and West Brook middle schools will close at 12:12 p.m. and the elementary schools will close at 1:10 p.m., according to the website.
Also Early Childhood afternoon classes and afternoon SACC are cancelled for Friday.

Yavneh Academy also plans an early dismissal of 12 p.m. for Friday according to its website.
The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for eastern Bergen County beginning Friday morning. The weather service predicts snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches, the heaviest snow is expected to hit Friday evening into Saturday morning.
