Blood Drives Coming To Bergen County

PARAMUS, NJ — New Jersey Blood Services is announcing that they will be conducting blood drives that are open to the public, starting next month.

According to a statement, there is a blood emergency due to the continued spread of the omicron variant and nationwide blood shortages. In order to donate you must be at least age 16, with parental consent, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in good health and meet Food and Drug Administration and NY or NJ State Department of Health donor criteria. Those over the age of 75 can donate with a doctor’s note.
