Delta Gas Station Hearing Picks up in September

Talks regarding the expansion plans of the Forest Avenue Delta Gas Station to convert its service station to a convenience store will pick up with the Paramus Zoning Board in September.

Golden Fuels the company proposing the changes to the station was scheduled to be heard by the Board on Aug. 8 but the hearing was postponed until Sept. 12.

A convenience store is not permitted use at this zone therefore the owner seeks a variance from the Zoning Board. In May, the project's planner testified that the new layout at the site would better accommodate traffic in and out of the property, according to a NorthJersey.com report.

The plans also include the addition of two gas station pumps for a total of four.

The hearing is planned for Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall.
