Federal Funding Secured for Veterans Home Construction

U.S. Senators announce $1.1 million has been secured towards the roof replacement at the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home.

Federal funding has been secured to the state for the purpose of replacing the roofs on two buildings at the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home.

U.S. Senators Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) and Robert Menendez (D-NJ) announced Friday that $1,108,784 had been provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs towards this construction project.

“This federal funding will help to ensure the Paramus Veterans’ Home continues to provide our vets with quality housing and support services,” said Senator Lautenberg, an Army veteran and member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.  “New Jersey’s veterans’ homes serve the men and women who fought bravely for our nation, and we will continue working to maintain and update these facilities.”
