
UPDATE - The National Weather Service has extended the flash flood warning for Bergen County until 10 p.m. Tuesday as heavy rainfall is expected to continue.
Flooding caused parts of Route 17 to be shut down late Monday morning. The roadway has since been reopened.
More showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday afternoon and evening.

- Tuesday - Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Areas of fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 83. South wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
- Tuesday Night - Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Areas of fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 70. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
