Free Paper Shredding Event Coming To Paramus: See When
Up to four banker's boxes or bags of paper can be shredded at Saturday's event at the Paramus Recycling Center.
PARAMUS, NJ – Have extra paper lying around? Now's your chance to shred.
Paramus Borough will host a paper shredding event at Paramus Recycling Center this weekend, according to a municipal notice. The event will run between Saturday 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 16.
Most personal documents can be shredded, even ones with staples. Photos, books, magazines, plastic binder covers, x-rays and documents with paper clips won’t be accepted.

Residents must stay in their vehicles and each vehicle can only have four banker’s boxes or bags.
Bags or boxes should be left in the backseat or trunk so a DPW worker can reach it easily.
