GoFundMe Started For NJ Nurse Burned, Assaulted By Coworker
A GoFundMe has been created for the victim of the attack at a North Jersey hospital. So far, nearly $5,000 has been raised.

HACKENSACK, NJ — A GoFundMe has been created for the nurse from Hackensack University Medical Center after she was set on fire and hit with a wrench during an assault at work on Monday morning.
The nurse, a 54-year-old patient care technician, required stitches and was treated in a specialized burn hospital for further treatment of burns to her face and multiple areas of her body. According to a report, she is in critical but stable condition.

The GoFundMe is set for a goal of $50,000. So far, there have been almost $5,000 raised in donations. It is being organized by Nita Ibrahim, a nurse at Hackensack University Medical Center.
“This patient care tech was a hard-working woman,” said Ibrahim on the GoFundMe page. “Everyone enjoyed working with her, including her patients. A kind woman who worked hard every day and never took any shortcuts.”
