Hall of Famer Comes to Congregation Beth Tefillah
On Sunday morning, Paramus synagogue members will have breakfast with Harry Carson

For 13 years, Harry Carson was considered an indestructible force as a linebacker for the New York Giants and on Sunday morning, the NFL Hall of Famer will join Congregation Beth Tefillah for breakfast as part of the synagogue's annual fundraiser. The event will be held at 9am.
The 59-year-old Franklin Lakes resident will speak as part of the fundraiser which will also feature raffles, food, autographs and other surprises.
Growing up in South Carolina, Carson went on to play at South Carolina State University where he led the Bulldogs to consecutive Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championships.

He was drafted by the Giants in 1976 during the fourth round and spent his entire career in New York. The team captain for 10 years, Carson made nine Pro Bowl appearances and was part of the 1986 squad that won Super Bowl XXI.
A vocal critic of the Hall of Fame selection process, Carson was given the honor of being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.

Following his time with the Giants, Carson created his own company, Harry Carson Inc., which deals mainly in sports consulting and promotions. He has also written two books: Point of Attack:The Defense Strikes Back and Captain for Life.
