Island Grille Breezes Into Paramus
The new island inspired casual dining restaurant marks the fourth location in New Jersey
This week, Bergen Town Center welcomed its newest restaurant with a Caribbean feel to offset the North Jersey chill as Bahama Breeze Island Grille held its grand opening.
The new Paramus restaurant is the fourth location by Darden Restaurants in the state as existing Bahama Breeze's allow residents a casual dining experience with an island escape in Wayne, Woodbridge and Cherry Hill.
“We are excited to introduce Bahama Breeze to Paramus and residents of the surrounding area,” said Bahama Breeze President Brian Foye. “At Bahama Breeze, our mission is to provide an unforgettable island escape for our guests by offering fresh and delicious foods and tropical drinks in a warm and vibrant atmosphere.”

The 8,500 square foot restaurant and bar offers lunch and dinner hours (and happy hours) with space for over 300 guests and can accomodate small or large groups. Bahama Breeze features an island-like atmosphere with Caribbean-inspired colors and landscaping and an outdoor deck for al fresco dining during the warmer months.
“Our restaurant is designed to create an atmosphere of casual relaxation and fun, like you’d find in the islands,” said John Brown, the new restaurant’s general manager. “As the weather gets colder and the New Jersey winter sets in, the Bahama Breeze in Paramus offers a tropical dining adventure with friendly service, delicious food and handcrafted tropical drinks.”

Bahama Breeze's menu features fresh seafood, wood-grilled chicken and flame-grilled steaks with "foodie" favorites such as the Jerk Chicken Pasta, Coconut Shrimp, Fresh Pan-Seared Salmon Pasta and Baby Back Ribs.
There is a daily fresh fish menu, a wide selection of shareable appetizers such as Firecracker Shrimp and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sliders and a “snacks and small plates” menu including Chicken Empanadas, Mojo Marinated Pork with Sweet Plantains and much more.
Adult diners can choose from an extensive bar menu with a large selection of handcrafted tropical drinks including mojitos, margaritas, martinis and tropical cocktails, as well as a diverse beer list that includes Aruba Red, a microbrew made especially for Bahama Breeze.
Bahama Breeze Island Grille is located at 1600 Bergen Town Center, Paramus next to the Olive Garden. The restaurant can be reached by calling 201-368-5860.
