Facebook Partners With Paramus Bakery To Launch Birthday Stories

PARAMUS, NJ — Mr. Cupcakes will give away free cupcakes Friday as part of a partnership with Facebook to celebrate the launch of the social media platform's birthday stories feature.

Facebook selected the Mr. Cupcakes bakery in the Paramus Park mall to help highlight the new feature. It is the only bakery in New Jersey Facebook selected for the promotion.

Mr. Cupcakes will give away free birthday cake cupcakes starting at 10 a.m. Local representatives will be there to show customers how to use the new birthday stories option. It allows users to create digital birthday cards with music and a slideshow.

"It's exciting," owner Johnny Manganiotis said. "I love giving back to the community, especially Paramus. It's a great town, a great place to a have a business, and a great opportunity."

Manganiotis opened the Paramus bakery in 2017. He has three other locations in Clifton, Hawthorne, and Garfield.
