Karate Students Earn Black Belts, Get Exercise at The Dojo

Single-digit weather isn’t exactly conducive for shooting hoops at the park or taking a jog down Main Street, but there are plenty of other ways to stay active during the colder months.

The Dojo Paramus, a karate school on Sette Drive near Midland Avenue, has karate classes year-round.

In fact, they just had a handful of students make black belt on Monday.

The Dojo specializes in classes for children and also offers classes for teens and adults. Classes run Tuesday-Saturday and are available on three levels: Little Ninja, Samurai and Teen/Adult. You can register for classes here.
