BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A convicted stalker is once again behind bars for victimizing the same woman for the third time, multiple news outlets report.

Christopher J. Greig, 39, has been charged with stalking, cyber-harassment and violating a restraining order, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

In Sept, 2021, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit said they were informed that Greig's alleged victim received more than 20 anonymous, alarming phone calls and multiple text messages from an unknown caller using technology to anonymize his caller ID.

Bergen County authorities told New Jersey News Network he was arrested after victimizing the same woman for the third time.

This is not Greig's first run-in with the law. In 2016, he was charged with cyber harassment, stalking and making terroristic threats, Patch first reported.

He took a plea deal from prosecutors and in Jan. 2017 was sentenced to 18 months in state prison, according to Daily Voice.
