BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – When you’re standing in line picking up last-minute Thanksgiving items this week, here’s someone you’ll wish was there to help the trip go even faster.
Brandon Caughy, 28, who works at ShopRite of Greenwich in Philipsburg recently won the title of “Best Bagger” during a friendly competition held at ShopRite of New Milford.
Employees from 18 different supermarkets across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania faced off on speed, technique, style and attitude as part of the 31st annual Best Bagger Contest.

He’ll vie against supermarket employees from across the country for the title of champion and a $10,000 cash prize.
The second place winner was Justin Cera, who works at ShopRite of West Deptford.
