Midland Youngster Shows School Spirit in Song

Midland Elementary School third -grader Alex Confino wowed the audience at the Paramus Board of Education meeting Monday as he proudly performed his winning song which won school's annual song writing contest.

To the music of "This Land is Your Land" young Alex sang his version all about his school.

"Midland is your school, Midland is my school. The staff is awesome. The kids are so cool. The teachers love us and teach us so much. Midland is great for you and me," sang the youngster.

Alex was given a certificate for his achievement from Board President Joanne Bergmann and Superintendent Ken Rota.
