BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A new Greek fast-casual restaurant is set to open soon in Bergen County, according to a marketing release.

The Gyro Project, located at 2151 Lemoine Avenue in Fort Lee, is set to open in June, a spokesperson said.

Curated by Bergen County residents and restaurateurs George Tenedios and Spiro Kokkosis, this new Greek dining concept will be "everyone's go-to spot for lunch and dinner," the restaurant said in a social media post.

"Just what we've all been waiting for — delicious, wholesome Greek lunch and dinners to eat in or take out," The Gyro Project said on Instagram.

Customers will be able to order a feta-brined rotisserie chicken and select fresh, in-house sides (the Greek favorites) — "it is a project," a restaurant spokesperson said.

In addition, The Gyro Project will highlight dessert options like Greek yogurt (froyo) and Greek doughnuts (loukoumades), with variations containing drizzled Nutella, Greek honey, or sour cherry preserve.

"(Greek) food is a smorgasbord of history and culture," a post said. "You will experience it all at The Gyro Project."

The restaurant will also feature an "agora," or marketplace, for small-batch craft Greek-imported packaged items, such as infused vinegar, olive oils, custom spices and rubs, snacks, dips and sauces, and much more, the spokesperson said.

Sandwiches, entrees and family meals are customizable. Customers can also design the catering menu for events.

The restaurant (open 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day) added: "We will have something for everyone."
