New Sandwich Experience Comes to Paramus
Potbelly Sandwich Shop opens its doors Tuesday in Bergen Towne Center the first of its kind in the area.

A new sandwich shop, which promises to not only be the place to go for lunch but to catch some live music and hangout, opens its doors at Bergen Towne Center on Tuesday.
The Potbelly Sandwich Shop, located between Pei Wei Asian diner and Torrid on the Spring Valley Avenue side of the mall, is the first of its kind in the Paramus and Bergen County area. The sandwich shop originated more than 30 years ago out of a small antique shop on Chicago's northside and now has hundreds of locations in 17 states.
It's built a reputation on its toasty warm sandwiches, shakes and made-to-order salads while being a mealtime hangout spot which welcomes local musicians to entertain during lunch, the company said in a statement.

The new shop will partner with Family-to-Family, Inc. during its pre-opening event to raise funds for the organization.
“We are partnering with Family-to-Family because the organization shares a fundamental principle with Potbelly—we want to feed America,” said Sanjay Spence, general manager of the new shop. “Family-to-Family does so much to offer hunger and poverty relief, not only nationally, but right here in our community. Since Potbelly is a neighborhood hangout, we feel it is important to support those who are supporting our friends, neighbors and fans.”
