Official Election Results Show No Change in Council, School Board Results
Voters elected Democrats Donna Warburton and Patsy Verile to the Paramus council and chose newcomer Alison Donoghue to the Board of Education.

Official election results from the Bergen County Clerk's Office show no change in the outcome of the Nov. 6 local election where voters favored Democratic political newcomers Patsy Verile and Donna Warburton for council and voted in a newcomer to the Board of Education.
According to official results Warburton remained the top vote getting taking in 27 percent of the vote, with her running mate Verile right behind with 25 percent. They were favored over Republican incumbents Dennis Arslanian and Micahel Rohdieck who each received about 24 percent of the vote.

In the first-ever November Board of Education election, In the first-ever November Board of Education election, voters re-elected board president Anthony Feorenzo, Jr. and trustee Bergenadette McCausland along with voting in newcomer Alison Donoghue to the three available seats on the board.

Donoghue was the top vote gainer with 22 percent of the vote while incumbents Feorenzo and McCausland each got 16 percent of the vote. Frank Straka came in fourth, just missing re-election to the board.
