Paramus High School sophomore, Cassie Stone was selected to participate in the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation (HOBY) Leadership Seminar. The New Jersey HOBY Leadership Seminar will take place this June at Monmouth University.
During the weekend seminar, Cassie will join other student “HOBY Ambassadors” from New Jersey to present multiple viewpoints on important issues, be encouraged to think critically about leadership and identify their own leadership strengths.
After their HOBY program, Ambassadors are challenged to return to their communities to perform at least 100 hours of volunteer community service within 12 months following the seminar.
