Paramus Begins Shared Court with Neighboring Maywood
The two boroughs will begin a shared service agreement said to bring benefits to both municipalities.

Starting Feb. 1 Paramus will begin sharing its municipal court with neighboring Maywood in a new shared service agreement said to benefit both towns.
The Maywood court keeps its own identity but all its business will be conducted by the Paramus court in its chambers, explained Cynthia Holmes, Paramus court administrator. It's a shared court not a joint court meaning the two won't be conducted together, she explained.
Paramus will continue to hold court ever Monday for traffic and criminal every Wednesday. The Maywood court will be conducted on the first and third Friday of each month, said Holmes.
