Paramus Cops Donate New Bike To Man After Old One Stolen

After a local man's only means of transportation was stolen, police banded together to purchase him a new bike.

PARAMUS, NJ – After a local man’s only means of transportation was stolen while he was at Paramus Park mall, police banded together to purchase him a new bicycle.

On July 17, police received a report from a man that his bike was taken, according to a social media post from the department. On Monday, Paramus Police Benevolent Association 186 in partnership with the department donated the man a new bike so he can travel back and forth to work, the post said.

Additional information was not available from police on Wednesday.

Authorities recommended locking one’s bike, as well as registering it, to protect the bicycle.
