Paramus Fifth Grader to Appear on Broadway

Paramus' Sarah Park, a fifth grade student at West Brook Middle School, will appear on Broadway this holiday season in a musical version of the classic "A Christmas Story."

This classic holiday movie now takes on a musical form arriving at the Lunt-Fontaine Theatre on Broadway just in time for the holiday season. Park, an aspiring actress, will play as “one of the rambunctious Bumpus Hounds.”

The setting is the 1940’s, where a bespectacled boy named Ralphie has a vast imagination and a wish for Christmas-a BB gun. Ralphie has some obstacles standing in the way of his dream coming true, such as a kooky leg lamp, including an outlandish pink bunny pajamas, a grouchy department store Santa and an icy flag post.
