Paramus Honors Eight Retiring Educators

Paramus Board of Education presented plaques to eight retiring educators Monday night in honor of their dedication to the district.

The following were honored Monday: Mary Lou Baird, Michele Freschi, Lynne Hershey, Deborah Hollender, Ruth Polifrone, Walter Rogers, Barbara Spero and Patricia Wilk.

Paramus schools Superintendent Ken Rota  wished them all a "long and healthy retirement." While it's a happy occassion Rota said it's sad as well as "the district is going to lose their expertise and district history and there is no replacement for that. We wish you the best of luck and we'll do our best to keep going and hope you come back and visit."
