Paramus Hosts First Triathalon This Week

Also the latest on the proposed municipal budget

This weekend will mark another first for the Paramus community.

The first-ever Paramus Sprint Triathlon, one race which combines swimming, biking and running, is set for Sunday, June 23 at the Paramus Pool and surrounding area. Click here for the full course information.

The event is a benefit for the Paramus Education Foundation which continuously works to raise funds which are given back to the schools provide educational needs to Paramus students.

  • The Paramus Zoning Board of Adjustment will continue to hear from Laganella Property Management regarding plans to construct a Panera Bread and another building intended for retail on the Route 17 North site next to Equinox Fitness Club. 
  • Golden Fuels also returns to the Zoning Board this week with its plans to replace a service station at the Forest Avenue Delta with a convenience store.
