“Clueless” actress Stacey Dash has been making headlines this week.

It’s not for the Paramus High School graduate’s latest work in film or TV.

The action has led to countless negative criticisms on Twitter relating to her gender and race, according to CNN.com.

It even led Dash to a TV appearance on the Piers Morgan show on CNN Tuesday night, in which she defended her position to support Romney over Obama—whom she voted for in 2008, according to StarPulse.com.

She continues to back up her position on social media, recently tweeting, “My humble opinion. . . EVERYONE is entitled to one.”

While there are certainly critics, there are many praising Dash for expressing her political choice without fear of retaliation.

Dash has appeared on the VH1 show “Single Ladies” and has starred in numerous other films but is best known for her role in “Clueless,” the 1995 movie starring Alicia Silverstone. She also appeared in the short-lived “Clueless” TV series.
