Paramus Man Gave Teen Gun She Used To Commit Suicide: Cops

PARAMUS, NJ - A 21-year-old Paramus man faces charges after authorities say he provided an 18-year-old with the shotgun she used to kill herself.

On Saturday, authorities responded to a Pleasant Avenue home after learning woman died from an apparent gunshot wound, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Further investigation determined Faith Youngling used an illegally purchased shotgun provided by Kenneth Pinte to commit suicide, Musella said.

Pinte was arrested on Sunday and charged with one count of manslaughter, one count of hindering apprehension and one count of unlawful purchase of a firearm.

He was remanded to county jail, pending a first court appearance.

Authorities did not elaborate on the relationship between Pinte and the teen.
