Paramus Music Students Recognized
Board of Education presents high school students recently named to the Bergen County Chorus and members of the Marching Band which recently excelled in competition.
More than a dozen Paramus High School students received recognition from the Board of Education Monday night for their musical achievements.
The board presented certificates to a group of high school students were who recently named to the Bergen County Chorus. The honored students are: Lisa Thampan, grade 12, soprana 2 and Alison Wolfer, grade 11, soprano 2 and Gabrielle Zeiler, Grade 12, Alto 1.
Certificates were also presented to members of the Spartan Marching Band who recently brought home a number of awards from the Music in the Park competition including Best Band, Best Music and Best Color Guard in their division as well as Best Overall Color Guard and Best Overall Band.

The following students in the marching band were recognized:
Carlo Antonio, Drum Major; Rachel Kordell, Color Guard Captain; Jonathan Han, Drum Major; Jennifer Pagliaro, Color Guard Captain; Benjamin Jen, Woodwind Captain; Joseph Bacich, Brass Captain; Alison Wolfer, Woodwind Captain; Sol Lee, Brass Captain; Joseph Kwak, Percussion Captain; Arun Philip, Percussion Captain. Band Director: Mark Donellan was also recognized.
