Paramus Promotes Kenneth Ehrenberg to Police Chief
He will be officially sworn in as Chief on June 25.

Kenneth Ehrenberg has been officially promoted to Chief of the Paramus Police Department.
Mayor Richard LaBarbiera made the recommendation Tuesday night which was received with full support of the council.
Ehrenberg was promoted from Captain to Deputy Police Chief this past Februrary and has been serving as Acting Chief since Chief Christopher Brock retired officially as of June 1.

LaBarbiera told Patch the agreement includes no salary increase for the remainder of this year, which is the same agreement that was put forth when Ehrenberg was named Deputy Chief earlier this year.
Ehrenberg will be formally sworn in at the Tuesday, June 25 mayor and council meeting.
