PARAMUS, NJ — A man was arrested after vehicles in residents' driveways were burglarized early Tuesday morning, police said.

Paramus police officers and a Bergen County Sheriff's K9 unit chased after Spruill and found him behind a home, Ehrenberg said.

Police pursued the Range Rover on Route 17 South, but lost sight of it near Essex Street.

Several vehicles on Highland Avenue was ransacked and property stolen from them, Ehrenberg said. Police believe the men are part of a crew responsible for ongoing vehicle thefts throughout Bergen County, often involving key fobs and keys left in vehicles overnight, he said.

Police developed information about the other suspects after Spruill's arrest. More arrests are expected soon, the chief said.
