Sandy Begins to Strike Paramus [PHOTOS]

As the winds and rains started to come down in Paramus Monday afternoon the atmosphere around town was quiet for the county's retail hub. Mall parking lots were scarce with just a few random vehiles here and there. Cars were seen whipping down the major highways but there was minimal traffic anywhere including local roadways.
