PARAMUS, NJ — Paramus students' SAT scores rank in the top half of the average scores across New Jersey, information released by the New Jersey Department of Education shows.
The average SAT score in Paramus for the 2017-18 school year was 1134, or 92nd highest in New Jersey out of 307 districts.
For the math portion of the exam, Paramus' average score was 574, good for 83rd highest.

The reading and writing portion, the average Paramus score was 560, or 108th highest in New Jersey.
The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2017-18 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores.
