The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption seven days a week.
This week the featured pet of the week is a pair of one-year old male rats - Ghost and NewB (ID89387-8). See attached photo.
The shelter also has birds - a parrot, cockatiel, and a parakeet - and other small animals including gerbils, guinea pigs and another adult rat, all of which need homes.
Also meet Tarzan (ID# 89313). At 3-4 years old, this American Staffordshire Terrier is confident and unbelievably handsome but he will be the boss if you enable this behavior. Strong and very energetic, Tarzan will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation, ranging from walks, hikes, runs, training, etc. The bug mush loves toys and enjoys playing. He will make a great pet for someone willing to take the time to show him love.
Also meet Merryl (ID#89059), a 4-month-old gray and white domestic short hair who came to the shelter with several other kittens.
