Spartans Fight for Playoff Spot, No School

Here is a look at some of what's going on around town today.

No school for Paramus Public School students today.

The Paramus Football Spartans are 5-2 on the season and are currently ranked fourth in their group. With only two games left this season, the Spartans are on the road against Wayne Hills on Friday night at 7 p.m.

Wayne Hills sits directly above Paramus in the group rankings at third. In their last game, the Spartans took out the then undefeated Ramapo Raiders. A win over Wayne Hills would immediately boost the Spartans up to third and would give them a chance to fight for the top spot in their group.
