Spartans Shut Down Wayne Hills, Playoff Implications

The Spartans look to make some noise in the NJSIAA tournament after going on the road and winning fifth straight.

The Paramus Spartans finished their run for the playoffs with a very important 14-10 win on the road against Wayne Hills on Friday.

According to nj.com, Spartans’ quarterback Tyler Smith was involved on both touchdowns. Smith ran in the first from 10 yards out and hooked up with Michael Mimmo for a 28-yard score for their second touchdown.

The Spartans won their last five games after starting their season 1-2 and found themselves sitting second in their group when all was said and done, according to gridironnewjersey.com.
