Strip Club Owner Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Dancer
A Bergen County man was charged with sexually assaulting a dancer in the VIP room of his Paterson night club.
HO-HO-KUS, NJ — A 62-year-old strip club owner, of Ho-Ho-Kus, was accused of sexually assaulting a dancer on Sept. 28 in the VIP room of Johnny A's Hitching Post in Paterson, according to a June 9 news release from the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
John Acunto was arrested on charges of second-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, the prosecutor's office said.
If convicted of all counts, Acunto faces a maximum sentence of 11 and a half years in prison. He is now being held at the Passaic County Jail, the prosecutor's office added.
