Suburban Diner on Route 17 North has reopened its doors after a 6-month hiatus while the place went under a major facelift and expansion.
The diner opened Monday without any big announcement but word caught on quickly and the diner staff appeared to be busily waiting on the lunch crowd by afternoon.

Aside from the new look, which is said to be done in a urban design, owners and staff say there are some new additions to the menu as well.
This was the first major renovation of the Suburban Diner in about 20 years. The diner has been a part of the Paramus business community for decades.
