The Bergen County Animal Shelter located in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption seven days a week.
This week the featured pet of the week is Tarzan (ID# 89313), a 3 to 4 year old this American Staffordshire Terrier is confident and unbelievably handsome but he will be the boss if you enable this behavior. Strong and very energetic, Tarzan will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation, ranging from walks, hikes, runs, training, etc. The bug mush loves toys and enjoys playing. He will make a great pet for someone willing to take the time to show him love.
Also meet Captain Jack (ID# 89437) a Jack Russel Terrier Mix. He was brought to the shelter because his original family didn't trust their grandchild around him. . At 8 years old, this sweet pooch is looking for a calm and patient home with no young children, especially since the owner claimed he is now scared of kids due to her grandchild. When you lay eyes on Captain Jack, you will instantly feel his sorrow and want to take all his pain away. Sadly, Captain Jack is a fitting name since this unfortunate JRT mix appears to have only one eye.
Also meet Mooch (ID# 89269) a male cat who got his name because he loves to get attention. He loves to be around people and will meow if he is in his cage and sees people. He would make a wonderful companion.
