Two Dead After South Hackensack Fire: Report
A fire left the Agar Place house charred with the windows blown out.
SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ — A man and woman died as a result of an overnight house fire on Agar Place in South Hackensack, fire chief Carmine Maceri said, according to a NorthJersey.com report.
Both were pronounced dead at the hospital, Maceri said.
NorthJersey.com reported that the fire, which happened right around the corner from the firehouse, left the house's frame charred and the glass windows blown out.

Several fire departments, along with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, responded to the fire, NorthJersey.com reported.
A public information officer with the prosecutor's office told Patch, at 10:37 a.m., that the office is investigating and has no further information at this time.
