Two Found Dead – Possibly By OD – Inside Paramus Home, Cops Say

Authorities believe the man and woman were killed by drug overdoses.

PARAMUS, NJ – Authorities suspect a man and woman found dead inside of a Paramus home Saturday morning were both killed by drug overdoses.

At 10:53 a.m., police were called to a Forest Avenue home on a report of two “possible sick persons,” Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said.

When officers arrived, they found a 47-year-old man who lived at the address dead in the kitchen. They also found a 51-year-old woman, identified as the man’s girlfriend, deceased in a bedroom, the chief said.

The man’s mother, who was home during the incident, called police because she thought the two had “just passed out” after using drugs, Ehrenberg said.

Authorities recovered possible narcotics and drug paraphernalia at the home, also, the chief said.
