Wallington Man Dies After Being Hit By 2 Cars In NYC: NYPD

The Van Winkle Avenue man was fatally struck on the Grand Central Expressway in Queens early Sunday morning, police said.

BERGEN COUNTY — A Wallington man who hit by two different cars in a New York City crash died last weekend, police said.

Van Winkle Avenue resident Luis Saguay, 49, died Sunday after a crash on Grand Central Parkway in Queens about 3 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Saguay, who appears to have been walking in the eastbound lane of the highway, was struck first by a white Mercedes Benz SUV then a Mazda sedan, the NYPD said.

Both drivers, a 52-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, remained on the scene and no arrests were made, police said.
